BIDDY & THE BULLETS
WELCOME TO A NEW CHAPTER IN COUNTRY ROCK.
BRAINCHILD OF RISING UK COUNTRY SONGWRITER BIDDY RONELLE, A NEW FEMALE FRONTED BAND HAS EMERGED. SOARING VOCALS COMPLIMENT SHREDDING GUITARS AND CRASHING DRUMS- IT’S A HEAVIER AMERICANA SOUND THAT WILL APPEAL TO FANS OF THE CADILLAC THREE, KRIS BARRAS BAND AND DELTA RAE.
NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
SURE IT’S GOING TO RAISE A FEW EYEBROWS AMONGST THE UK COUNTRY SCENE BUT WE FELT IT HIGH TIME SOME SOUTHERN ROCK WAS BROUGHT TO THESE SHORES. AS CODY JINKS WOULD SAY ‘LOUD AND HEAVY’ IS WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT.
IT’S TAKEN SOME TIME TO GET HERE WITH LINE UP CHANGES, LOTS OF SONGS NOT QUITE MAKING IT TO FINAL PRODUCTION AND OF COURSE A WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC. BUT WE THINK WE’VE CRACKED IT. WE’VE TRIED TO MAKE THIS AN EXTENSION OF BIDDY’S SUCCESSFUL SOLO WORK AND AT HEART, HER MUSIC WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE PLAYED AS A BAND.
THEIR DEBUT SINGLE ‘DARK SIDE’ IS AN INTRODUCTION TO THE OUTFIT AND THEIR HEAVIER SOUND. LED BY A CATCHY GUITAR RIFF THAT BUILDS TO AN ANTHEMIC CHORUS IT SIMPLY IS HERE TO SAY ‘WE’RE HERE FOLKS, AND WE’RE GOING DARK’.
“COME AND TAKE MY HAND. I CAN HELP YOU UNDERSTAND. I’LL BE YOUR WHITE RABBIT. FOLLOW ME DOWN INTO WONDERLAND!’
THE BULLETS ARE MADE UP OF STU MAGRU (WRITER, PRODUCER & RHYTHYM GUITAR), DARREN GILL (LEAD GUITAR), ADAM MURPHY (BASS GUITAR) AND ALEKS PODRAZA (DRUMS)
BIDDY & THE BULLETS CAN BE CAUGHT ON VARIOUS TOUR DATES SUPPORTING ACTS SUCH AS THE OUTLAW ORCHESTRA AND FARGO RAILROAD CO. THEY WILL BE APPEARING AT BUCKLE & BOOTS FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER AND ARE AWAITING ON CONFIRMATION FOR A NUMBER OF OTHER FESTIVAL DATES.
